Naomi LaViolette presents her holiday single, “Noel”, recorded in collaboration with violinist Aaron Meyer and an ensemble of vocalists from the Oregon Repertory Singers and Portland State University choirs.
“Noel" is Naomi's unique arrangement of the traditional 18th century English carol "The First Noel". She blends Celtic and Middle Eastern melodic styles with a robust harmonization and lush instrumentation. The recording is consistent with Naomi's musical blend of vintage and current sounds: it features a pure vocal, a classical choir, acoustic violin and piano, combined with electric guitar, Rhodes piano with delay, and programmed drum effects.
Choir conductors: Naomi is available to perform "Noel" with your choir. Contact her for booking and to order scores.
